Netflix's 'Hot Frosty' trailer sees a woman falling for a ripped snowman

Jack Frost has some serious abs in the trailer for Hot Frosty, Netflix's fairly ridiculous-looking festive movie about Kathy (Mean Girls' Lacey Chabert) magically bringing a snowman (Schitt's Creek's Dustin Milligan) to life with a scarf.

The snowman in this case happens to be shredded, of course, and so begins a holiday romance with some comic relief from two police detectives (Craig Robinson and Jo Lo Truglio) and the looming threat of the snowhunk eventually melting away.

If you watch until the end, there's a Mean Girls Easter egg — with Chabert seeing her co-star Lindsay Lohan on the TV, in a still from her Netflix movie Falling for Christmas, and remarking, "She looks just like a girl I went to high school with." Gretchen Wieners would recognise Cady Heron any day.

Hot Frosty is streaming on Netflix from Nov. 13.
