Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan (Everything Everywhere All at Once) takes on his first major lead role in the upcoming action flick Love Hurts. And from the looks of the trailer, he's going to be kicking some major ass.

Quan stars as Marvin Gable, a mild-mannered Milwaukee realtor with a dark past. When his former partner in crime Rose (Oscar winner Ariana DeBose, West Side Story) catches up with him, Marvin finds himself back in the criminal underworld he tried so hard to leave behind. With his brother Knuckles (Daniel Wu, American Born Chinese) hot on his tail, Marvin will have to team back up with Rose if he has any chance of surviving and returning to the comparatively low-stakes world of real estate.

Check out the full trailer above to see Quan and DeBose in full action star mode — and for a truly creative (if a little bloody) use of a cookie cutter.

Love Hurts hits theaters Feb. 7.
